Irregular idle (hi-lo), unintended acceleration at Idle with brake applied, surging with cruise control, no TC lockup, no coast clutch engagement, hang shifts, extremely hard (sound like something broke) up shifts, hi ICP, two sets of inj Orings, one hpop hose, very heavy smoke output couldn't touch throttle without fogging out 3 lanes of traffic, turbo lag while under boost ect. Had this adjusted out a couple of times both sometimes on reburns you got it right back. Extremely sensitive throttle( first 1/8" was 0-100%). Then you add up the shipping both ways plus addition charges for adjusting for mods. But everytime came with a new mass of issues. I probably have the most expensive F5chip sitting on the shelve anyone has ever seen. There was only one time they were remotely close to me for live tuning and it was canceled shortly before. They were too far for me to drive and out of the 7 years of owning the chip. If you are truely wanting to run DP tunes.
have shift kit just not in yet.My advice to you would be to get a chip that can be updated by USB, Wifi or do live tuning from the start. if you run the 100hp mod you should put a shift kit in trans i can feel it slip in gear under hard acc to much power for trans. been asking if any one else has the sniper but i think i am the only one. loaded! taking lab top so i can change programs if needed the unet holds 5 that i allready made i will let you now how it went when i get back on the 27th.
he took me at the line cause i busted the tires he started to walk after i hooked up he was not walking from me i was coming on to him whin we had to back out of it the sniper poforms good had it for a month the best fule i could pull was 15 geting ready to go to new mexico so i will see what kind of imporovment it made the only thing i got to acount for is i am going to be loaded with 3000# wanted to get over 18mpg dont now if i will make it. I decided to go ahead and spend 155 and try his performance tune for my 6.7.
My first email to Jody resulted in an immediate, helpful response. I knew he wrote great tunes for a 7.3 chip style program, but I never heard anyone talk about his tunes on anything newer. just raced another ford a 99 that full 4" from turbo,35" tires 4.88 gears i think he said and a power programer not sure at the time what kind. I talked to a few companies and Jody at DP Tuner was very helpful.
